Love Poetry - 2 hour workshop

Service Description

We often focus on learning functional English - e.g. for work, university, travelling etc. But have you ever noticed how beautiful the English language can be? Poetry is a unique form that can be descriptive, lyrical, funny, imaginative, romantic, modern, moving... In this fun and creative course, we will read a few selected English poems, and enter into a creative process to compose our own poem on a theme of our choosing. Prepare to be inspired! Open to intermediate/advanced students only. Please note - reading your poem is optional! This course is informal, and whilst participants are welcome to share their work if they wish, there is no obligation to do so.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible. Appointments cancelled with 24 hours notice (or more) will be refunded in full. For cancellations received between 12 and 24 hours before the appointment, 50% of the lesson fee will be refunded. For cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment, no refund shall be given. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible but may take up to 28 working days.
